The Isles of Scilly
The Isles of Scilly are a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty, located just off the coast of Cornwall. They represent an island archipelago with over 100 islands to explore. There are five inhabited islands Tresco, St Martin's, Bryher, St Mary's & St Agnes. The islands are characterised by some of the most outstanding beaches in Britain, sandy white coves providing perfect anchorages and access to stunning moorlands and coastal walks and sheltering colourful narcissi flowers which are an important industry for the islands. There are also sheltered lagoons which are ideal for swimming with seals, snorkelling or sailing Halcyon's clinker gaff rigged 12ft dinghy. There can also be the perfect opportunities to try your hand at waterskiing or wakeboarding with the crew. Halcyon's RIB can also transport you to some of the uninhabited islands for photography, wild life watching and observing the rare species of bird and plant life. The Islands also host one of the greatest number of historic shipwrecks in the UK.
