Picture yourself standing on the teak deck of one of the finest classic yachts in the world, restored to her original 1920's splendour. Beneath your feet, in her sumptuous interior, you will find a Burma teak panelled décor while around you on her teak deck the traditional blocks & tackles of a by-gone sailing era relish trimming her suit of sails - a sailing thoroughbred!
Imagine the wind filling the sails, the seas passing beneath her lead keel and copper clad hull and some of the most spectacular and wildlife-rich cruising waters of the world passing before you. Is there anything to surpass it - probably not!
Add to this being served delicious cuisine prepared by our own chef then you, your family, friends, colleagues or clients will truly be experiencing 'Halcyon Days'!
The luxury yacht, Halcyon, built in 1929, has been called “The Orient Express of the Seas” and this really sums up the full experience of a voyage on Halcyon, either as a residential cruising guest while staying in your luxurious traditionally panelled cabin, or as a guest on a 'day-sail' basis. Her saloon will envelope you in her teak cosiness, and at anchor, her wood burning stove will warm the coskles of your heart. |

There is far more to the Halcyon Experience than just being on board and being part of an exhilarating classic sailing adventure - you are stepping back in time to an era when style and quality counted and guests on board such craft were pampered and treated to a superb level of indulgence. All this you will experience on Halcyon - and she's yours to command!
Yet, with all this talk of 'tradition' and 'the good old days of life under sail', we have not forgotten the more contemporary luxuries and facilities that are available today. Carefully and cleverly incorporated into Halcyon's recent total refurbishment are many features that are expected by today's charter guest - central heating, ample shower and toilet facilities, freezers and fridges (champagne must be chilled!), entertainment equipment, a fully equipped galley from where our gourmet chef delivers mouthwatering dishes, and many more luxury items to ensure a totally lavish experience for all our guests.

You are most welcome to participate in the sailing of this traditional luxury yacht but remember, Halcyon is a classic yacht which means that the modern-day luxuries of motorised winches and powered assistance are not part of her lifestyle - she adheres to her old ways with wooden blocks and tackles and traditional sailing methods needing brains and brawn. You will experience the amazing thrill of being a part of this unique sailing experience, with the gratification and pleasure of your own contribution to an unforgettable adventure. |

Our fully qualified and experienced skipper, Robert Hickman, takes Halcyon on a fascinating voyage around the coasts of Wales, Ireland, Scotland, England, France and Norway with an itinerary that allows our guests to join this luxury classic yacht at several ports of call along the way.
To assist Robert in ensuring that all Halcyon's guests have a memorable, and safe, time on board Halcyon, the yacht also carries purser/hostess, Annette Corder, as well as a mate, and a first class chef. Annette is also a qualified water-sports instructor and will help Halcyon's guests in the use of the yacht's original sailing dinghy or the new high-speed jet RIB that we use for wake-boarding and water skiing or visiting more closely some of the enchanting coves and inlets around the coast.
